It couldn't have been more then 4 rounds that connected before he was a pile of questionably flavored popsicles. updated The Cryolator is behind a Master locked case in Vault 111 ( though you can get the cryolator without having the Master level in the Lockpicking perk ). In fact it seems just the opposite, being able to merc a 60+ legendary Deathclaw in little more then a single burst ( literally, first time I used it was with the crystallizing barrels, ran across said Deathclaw, recalled placing the Cryolator in my pack, equip it expecting atleast some sort of challenge ). Well, what's happening is most enemies in Fallout 4 are without any Cryo resistance, base or otherwise. Remember the Cryolator takes a unique ammo type, the 'Cryo' cell. Laser, Plasma, Fire, Cryo, Alien Blaster, etc). For some reason, although having multiple damage types, Bethesda decided to represent any damage type other then Rad and Ballistic damage under the generic 'Energy' category (i.e.
